Just read a quote on Twitter that I liked. It was posted by Tony Robbins but is attributed to Buddha
Though one should conquer a thousand times a thousand men in battle, he who conquers his own self, is the greatest of all conquerors
I am not sure what to make of it other than it seems to mean something to me. I think I will ponder this for a while and see if it brings anything to mind. I wonder how do you truly conquer yourself, is it a case of win the battle and loose the war without ever realising you were in combat in the first place?
